The Dawnmead Dolmen is just west of the fort. On the northeast corner is the gate into contested Cyrodiil. The Northern Woods border to the west and Jodewood is to the south.

You will need to complete the quests in order from 1 – 3; the quest givers are marked on the maps below. Sometimes the skill point is awarded before all of the quests in the zone are finished, but the remaining quests need to be completed because they are prerequisites for the next questing zone. – Detailed Walkthrough –

Javad Tharn has grown tired of waiting. There have been reports of Daedra and Stonefire cultists in Dune. You need to clear the city of Daedra, then meet Ayrenn at the temple.
First, you need to find the Champion in Dune. Shazah rescued Esan from the Mages Guild. He has a plan. When he saw the Daedra, he stole a fang talisman from the temple’s vault. You can focus its power and close the Daedric portals. However, you need to power the Fang by holding it when you fight atronachs.

To charge the fang, defeat five atronachs inside Dune, then use the Sacred Khajiit Fang on the portal in the center of the city.

Shazah says Esan left to investigate a second Daedric portal near the Mages Guild. She sends you after him while she reports to the Thalmor council and gathers troops for you.

The Mages Guild Portal
The Mages Guild is to the northeast. Esan is lying on the ground in front of the guild. The leaders of the guild turned on him. They must be working for Tharn. You need to kill Bayya, who has trapped the mages inside the guild, and destroy his totem.

Bayya is in the upper level of the inn Walker’s Stay. Defeat him, destroy the totem and close the portal.

The Shrines of Jone and Jode
Dagila inside the guild says there is another portal in the temple district. The temple district is to the south. The Stonefire cult desecrated the shrines. You cleanse the shrines of Jone and Jode, while Shazah cleanses the shrine to Lorkhaj.

However, when you return to Shazah, Javad Tharn opens a dark anchor. He plans to walk the Path of Two-Moons himself. After you defeat the harvester, Shazah will thank you for saving her life.

As you run with Shazah to the Temple of the Dance, the people of Dune, the Vinedusk Rangers and even Queen Ayrenn will cheer and congratulate you on saving Dune.

  8. Talk to the Champion.

– Detailed Walkthrough –

When you are ready to walk the path talk to Shazah.

Align the Reflectors
Inside the Temple of the Dance, you talk to Rid-Thar-ri’Datta. He says you need to align the reflectors to the light of Jone and Jode. As you align each of the four crystals, you see a vision of the former Manes and Khali and Shazah becoming the Lunar Champions. Once all four are aligned, a portal will open.

The portal takes you to the Demi-Plane of Jode. Talk to Shazah. She says the Path will show you the way. A ghostly Bosmer named Elilor appears and runs to another portal.

The Wild Hunt
In the next area, Elilor is lying on the ground, injured. The Hunt has driven all the Bosmer mad. He tried to protect the Silvenar and the Green Lady. They are being pursued by the Wild Hunt. You defend them until the Silvenar is too tired.

Talking to the Green Lady reveals that the Khajiit left the Aldmeri Dominion after the fall of Akkhuz-ri and the death of Gharesh-ri. The Bosmer used the Wild Hunt to stand against the other alliances, which closed in on the weakened Dominion. It consumed the people of Valenwood, forcing the Green Lady and the Silvenar to go on the run.

The Silvenar awakes, but something is wrong. He transforms into a werewolf. You and the Green Lady are forced to kill him. She blames Queen Ayrenn.

Ayrenn’s Last Stand
You talk to Shazah again, then follow a ghostly Cariel into the next portal. You arrive to see Cariel wounded by a Veiled Heritance soldier. The Veiled Heritance led a revolt against Queen Ayrenn. All of the Summerset Isles turned against her. She sends you to help Razum-dar, the Queen’s last defense. Battlereeve Urcelmo attacks Razum-dar. The Battlereeve turned against the Queen when she tried to hold the Dominion together. The other alliances are marching on Summerset.

You open the door to Ayrenn’s Last Stand. Inside the inner sanctum, Ayrenn and Urcelmo fight. After he is defeated the Queen leads you back out to the Summerset Isles. She commands you to leave her alone to die, and you exit through the portal door.

Shazah is convinced this will not be the future of the Dominion.

  5. Talk to the Lunar Champion in Dune.
  6. Observe the Ascension ceremony.
  7. Talk to the new Mane.

– Detailed Walkthrough –

“This is it, Hallowed. We stand on the threshold of our final challenge. The end of the Path.”

Whom you talk to depends on whom you choose to help in previous quests. However, the rewards and dialogue are very similar.

Talk to Shazah in the Demi-Plane of Jode. You’ve helped the Champion walk the Paths of Jode and Jone, but there is a third path—the Dark Moon, the Path of Lorkhaj. However, as you two speculate about what lies ahead on the Path of Lorkhaj, a sound distracts Shazah.

It is a projection, running southeast across the bridge. Follow it to the portal, then talk to the Lunar Champion again.

Shazah says it was a projection of Khali. She needs a bit more convincing that she is ready to be the Mane, but with your help, she is able to take the last step. Enter the portal to the Den of Lorkhaj.

The Den of Lorkhaj
Follow the Lunar Champion down the stairs.

“Shazah, I’ve missed you. You left me alone, in the dark.”

“Khali? Is that you? You’re alive? You’re safe?”

“Of course, I’m alive. Safe and sound.”

“Your sister is safe. Her soul has been purified by darkness. Come, join her…Here is your sister, freed. Your sister, my new Dark Mane.”

Khali now attacks you and Shazah. After you fight her for a little bit, Javad Tharn, the voice who claimed to corrupt her, sounds frustrated and appears to “take care of you” himself.

During the battle, Javad Tharn calls upon Khali to aid him. Hopefully, you will be able to do enough damage to Tharn that you can focus on him, then defeat the Dark Mane.

Rid-Thar-ri’Datta appears after you have defeated the Dark Mane.

Rid-Thar: “Your sister is at peace. Together, you and she have walked the Two Moons Path to its end.”

Shazah: “No. I…I had to let you go once already. I’m not ready to lose you again.”

Rid-Thar: “She has traveled beyond the path.”

Shazah: “How can I trust anything you say? The path has shown me terrors, lies, failure…”

Khali: “Shazah! Don’t cry. Rid-Thar can’t hurt me now. I’m at peace.”

Shazah: “Please! Don’t leave me!”

Khali: “Goodbye, my sister. May you lead the Khajiit with wisdom and strength.”

Rid-Thar: “Hallowed, Champion. Your journey is complete. Return now to Dune and begin to walk the next path.”

The Mane’s Ascension
Return to Dune through the portal, and talk to the Lunar Champion. Her ascension ceremony begins.

Rid-Thar: “Champion. It is time. You are at the end of your path. As the Lunar Champion, you have proven yourself time and time again. But do you truly understand what it means to be the Mane?”

Shazah: “Yes, I’ve walked the Path and know what lies ahead and honor those left behind.”

Rid-Thar: “You’ve begun the Path and know what lies ahead of our people. Are you prepared to lead your people?”

Shazah: “Yes. I accept this role in service of kit and kin.”

Rid-Thar: “Then wear this, as leader of our people, and rise, Mane of our people.”

Talk to the new Mane. She thanks you for your bravery in Reaper’s March—you saved the Jewel of Elsweyr. The Khajiit will never forget you. The reward is the same whether you chose to aid Khali or Shazah.
