The town of Senie is near the middle of the region. The Daen Seeth Dolmen is on the coast in the northwest, northeast of Ebonheart in the Zabamat region to the west. Puzzle Solutions
Collect the Candle
Starting from the left, interact with the first shrine twice to make the flame orange, the middle shrine twice for yellow, and the right shrine once for blue. The order of interaction does not matter. You should now be able to open the chest to get a kwama-grease candle.

Collect the Skull
The left and right shrines need to be set to yellow, and the middle to blue. The chest should open, and you can retrieve the skull.

Watch Mavos in the Past
Return to Mavos with the skull and candle. He is not impressed, but he begins the ritual.
Acolyte Hedyn tells you that they tried to restrain Balreth, but Daedric portals keep opening. Scamps from the portals are killing those who survive Balreth. He gives you a pouch which will allow you to close the Daedric portals and tells you to find Magister Enuse once all three portals are closed.

Magister Enuse is north of the Northern Portal. She tells you Mavos gained control of two guardian atronachs, Ragebinder and Blaze, who should be strong enough to hold Balreth. She tells you to summon both of them.

Interacting with the brazier at the eastern well summons Ragebinder, and the western brazier summons Blaze. Both atronachs join Mavos. Once they are summoned, talk to Mavos. He tells you to touch the altar. Use the Altar of Binding, and the vision of the past fades.

Mavos Siloreth appears and tells you, “Well, I see that my considerable investment in you wasn’t a total waste.” Mavos will then open a portal to Ash Mountain and encourage you to go in to battle Balreth. Mavos will encourage you to defeat Balreth while he’s weak, and cautions that Balreth gains strength from the lava pools inside the volcano. Mavos also has another piece of helpful advice: “Ah! Don’t let him light you on fire. Yes, that’s something you should avoid.”

Travel through the portal to the interior of Ash Mountain, where you will see Garyn Indoril doing battle with Balreth. Join Garyn, and prepare for a long, brutal fight. You can use the Storm Talisman from Walks-in-Ash to stop him by bringing a thunderstorm down on his head. Garyn wields a magical staff, and he exudes a yellow aura that provides restorative abilities. Balreth does an inordinate amount of damage via burning, stomp, heat wave, and strike attacks. He also summons scamps to harass you and Garyn. Once Balreth has lost some amount of health, he will retreat to one of the lava pools to regain health and stamina, so be prepared for a long fight.

Once you have defeated Balreth, Ragebinder and Blaze will show up to imprison him forever. After speaking with Mavros, exit through the portal and talk with Walks-in-Ash to complete the quest. You will be rewarded with the weapon Dagon Morag, 114 gold, and one skill point.
