Yew logs of bright yellow color, with a small patch of blooming grass growing on them, can be found mostly in the last zone of each of the alliances, as well as in Coldharbour and Cyrodiil. Some of the samples may be also obtained at the end of the fourth zone. One log can be harvested for three to four samples of the raw material, Rough Yew. Once ten samples of rough wood are collected, they can be refined into seven to ten pieces of the processed material, Sanded Yew. From the refined yew pieces a woodworker can craft yew staves and bows, as well as yew shields, at any woodworking station. In order for you to create yew gear your Woodworking ability has to be rank 5.
